Who Are We?
Silkee was founded by Jahan Thakur and Linh Tran Huy, two individuals who started their career in digital marketing working for a thriving media agency. Jahan worked in the industry throughout his entire career, refining his technical knowledge to the next level, while Linh transitioned into consulting, focusing on top-level insights and recommendations to shape the digital strategy of big brands. After years in the field, they decided to create their own agency in order to combine their accumulated expertise and drive client growth their way. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Where does the name Silkee come from?
Silkee is a reference to the Silk Road, a network of trade routes connecting the East to the West from the Antiquity all the way to the 15th century, allowing for the exchange of goods and ideas across cultures. In the same vein, our raison d’être is to help our clients digitally connect their products and services to new audiences and prospects. Whether you are a Japanese SDA looking to grow in Europe or a UK clothing brand trying to improve their acquisition campaigns, everyone, regardless of size, should have access to state-of-the-art digital marketing services.

Linh Tran Huy
Co-founder, Digital Strategy Consultant
Linh started his career in the world of digital marketing, activating and eventually strategizing campaigns, before moving to the world of management consulting. He returned to his roots by joining a web analytics and market research scale-up, where he helped develop a consulting department and contributed to the growth of multiple brands in the CPG industry. He wanted to continue to create value for his clients in his own way - and Silkee was the natural next step.

Jahan's career in digital marketing began with search before expanding to full-funnel strategies. As a growth marketing strategist, he has a long history of integrating paid marketing with SEO, CRO, CRM, creative content, and copywriting to drive business results. His expertise spans various KPIs and industry verticals. His longtime goal was to use the expertise he'd developed to create his own agency.
